The main news follows our recent 15th A.G.M. and the subsequent committee meeting.
Congratulations to
Martin Holt for national BALH award
Cliff Burd for being elected our first active Life Honorary Member for his outstanding contribution to the Historical Life of the Town.
Sam Eedle for being awarded the 2005 Woodard Award for his article "Abbey Boys in the Terriers", published in Bulletin 13 (2004).

Summary of audited financial status 31 March 2005:
cash balance: £444.17p with all publications paid for. Members 76
Membership Fees:
as at present for local members
new expatriate membership of £10 sterling which includes one free bulletin + p&p.
Bulletins
Bulletin 14 with its new style cover is now available.
all bulletins 1-14 are now fully indexed - and a paper copy is available.
the deadline for Bulletin 15 for members is 1 November 2005!
Future Projects

Historical Walk as an an addition to the 2005 Programme:
Thursday 23 June - Tewkesbury's Lost Railways
to contribute to the joint commemoration of VE Day and VJ Day during the weekend of 9-11 July, we are applying via Tewkesbury Borough Council for a grant from the Home Front Recall Fund to enable students to undertake research amongst their families and friends and to mount an exhibition for the community at the Town Library starting on 9 July 2005.
the 2005-6 Programme of Meetings is now available; first meeting 22 September 2005
Thursday 8 September 2005 at 7 p.m. next committee meeting.
